How difficult is it......

to choose pictures for a scrapbook workshop?? I have a workshop to go to tomorrow which I am looking forward to but I am having a hard time choosing piccies. I mean when you have photos as cute as this one what can you do?????
I have gone for a mix of the boys, and older ones of mum and dad and grandparents etc. Just got to print them all off now and try to narrow down my selection.
One good thing was that I sat down and looked through loads of albums and keepsake book which was quite an emotional experience. Time flies by so quickly and the boys grow and change so much. Also seeing piccies of my grandparents was quite an emotional thing too but nice as you are taken back to all those happy times spent with those people who still mean so much to you even though they are no longer here.
Anyway enough of that I have work this morning - after today I have just 6 sessions left to do - YIPEEE!!! Not that I want to leave you understand LOL! This afternoon I think I will be getting piccies ready for tomorrow - did I say how much I am looking forward to tomorrow - can't wait!!!

Good and bad day...... ***pics added**

The last few days have been such an roller coaster of emotions for us here at Feary towers. First lets start with the bad news.....

Some idiots last night broke into my boys school and smashed windows in six classrooms (yr 3 and 4). They then stole equipment etc which are only a couple of years old and very expensive. WHY???!!! It makes me so sad that people could do this sort of thing anyway but to a Primary school..... it just beggars belief. The teachers were in tears and so were the children who were obviously not allowed in school today because of all the glass lying around. The school is such a lovely one and all the teachers work so hard to make it pleasant for then children and this happens. I am so upset and at the same time so angry. I just hope they catch them and string them up. There is no excuses for this sort of behaviour towards 8 and 9 year olds.

Now for the good news....... George my four year old had his Reception play yesterday and today. Awwww definately a proud mummy moment. He was a cheeky monkey in the Story of the Sad Penquins. At the end all of the children got on stage and sang the first verse of Silent Night and then they repeated it only this time they did sign language. Well this mummy had tears in her eyes both yesterday and this morning when I saw it again. It was a very emotional thing and George loved it! Next week Harry has his concert so the tissues will be at the ready again.

And finally.....ALL CHRISTMAS CARDS ARE FINISHED!!!!!!!!. Well apart from the cover of Steve's but that is not too much. I am soooo happy to get them done as I have a number of projects I want to have a go at - so watch this space.

Its blowing a gale out there!!!

Wow how windy and wet is it out there - its horrible!!!! And I have to go out in it :-( Oh well nevermind. Busy day ahead of me today - work this morning and then George's first school play this afternoon. I will post piccies if I can get any decent ones.

Talking of photos here is my house lit up. It looks quite subtle - didn't want the tacky look plus we have not lived in this house for a full year yet and don't want the neighbours to think that the clampits have moved in. LOLHad a great craft class last night - we made some stars which I have dying to do for a long time. Here we all are on Traci's blog . Also managed to get a few more cards done yesterday I think I have got about 20 more to do which MUST be done today. Update you later on that one. New cards have been added to my slide show so please take a look.

Its ..... Monday!

Monday is here already - where did the weekend go?????

Anyway boys are dropped off at school and I am here in my room sorting out the piccies of my cards which I did last night. Still got more to make but that light at the end of the tunnel is at least abit brighter LOl!

Here are two of them from yesterday and the rest are on the slideshow. Any comments gratefully received as its nice to get any sort of feedback!

Steve is at this very moment hanging up some outside Xmas lights - a quiet job you might think? Oh no hammer is now out and there are some loud banging noises coming from the front of our house. He has announced to me that we a trip to a diy place will be called for this morning. Oh heck! Then again will I get a lunch out if I go too hmmm will update later.

Right those cards won't make themselves - catch ya later!!!

Its oh so quiet......

its oh so still. As in the words of Bjork. And that can only mean one thing........bedtime!!!! I love my boys but crikey have they been noisey today.

Busy morning helping Traci with the kids craft workshop, which was great fun and Harry loved it. He wanted to know when they will be more workshops.... so come on Traci!

Bit of a funny afternoon following a phonecall from my brother about his partner which I am not going to talk about on here. But want to send them both big hugs and an extra hug for my little nephew Kyran who is very special to me.

Now that they boys are in bed I am trying to get some cards done for Xmas. Just got the ones to do for my Avon customers so they don't have to be as intricate as family ones but I keep getting distracted. I will get there as I am determined to get them finished this week - I am all Christmased carded out. Is that a phrase? Answers on a postcard please! I will get some piccies of them taken tomorrow when the light is better and I have a few more done.

I can honestly say I am really enjoying doing this blog - it is great to just sit and take stock of what I have achieved each day - good or bad! My mum loves it!

Right onwards and upwards - cards to make!

Evening all!

Well thank goodness today I feel 100% better. Was fed up of feeling so grotty.

Had a lovely day today - not done any crafting - but still a nice day!

Started with hairdressers for a colour and cut - lovely no more grey hairs on show hee hee hee. Then off to the local craft market to see what Traci was up to and to lend a hand if necessary.

At 3pm the town lights were turned on. It was lovely singing carols around the tree with the town band. Then back to the craft market for wine and mince pies - yummy!!!!

Back home with a chinese takeaway and Come Dancing and now Robin Hood. Bliss!

Steve is going out with the 'boys' in a little while for their Annual Gentlemans Social Evening so once the boys are in bed my time is my own. Very nice too.

Off to the Craft Cabin in the morning for the Childrens Christmas Workshop which Harry is doing as he loves any sort of crafting. In the afternoon I WILL do some Christmas cardmaking and get them finished once and for all. Will let you know if this plan works out. ;-)

Bit poorly...... **edited**

thats me today. So much so that I have decided not to go into
work. I think Steve realised I really wasn't well when I said 'no
work today' as I don't like to take time off.

Then again I did feel better after I saw this picture I had to take before school this morning. What a picture of cuteness. Crikey George does love that kitten!

Slow day to start with thank goodness and then it gets busier as the day goes on ending with the school Christmas Fair tonight. This is an annual event which is lovely but manic and the kids just love it!

Think I may go and sort my hair out and then a cuppa I think.

****edited****

Well we have returned from the Xmas Fair which was busy to say the least but it is for the PTA so its for a good cause.

As you can see I picked up a couple of blonde haired reindeer while I was there!!!!
