Didn't post yesterday or Thursday as have been (a) - busy!!!
(b) - still under the weather with my flaming hands!!! :(

Feeling a little better today so thats a good sign but have decided that I am going to take it relatively easy this weekend as I am not working and Steve has finished work for the week :)

Today will be spent cheering hubs on as he makes another appearance for Thrapston 3rds cricket team. Got my paper, chair, and book at the ready - bliss!!!

Needless to say my crafting has been slow over the past few days but here is one I managed to create the other day.
Like to think its simple but effective ;)

Mid week already!!!

Halfway throught the first week already - my goodness!!

Its been a busy day and a rather painful one as my hands and feet are aching today. But I am settled down with a glass of something now and the boys are in bed - bliss!!!

Yesterday I was looking at a bag of scraps trying to decide what to do with it and hey presto!!!
I am quite pleased with it and it uses some of those pesky bits which we all keep!

I can honestly say that I have been really impressed with the Smirk For Men range of decoupage and papers.
I don't normally buy this sort of thing especially at the moment when funds are a little sparce but this set was good value for money.
The images are fun and appeal to a wide range of ages.

Its been day two of the hols and Harry has chilled out while George went to his holiday club again.
Love the hols!!!!

First Day.........

of the hols and apart from the weather and the fact hubs is not off until next week everything is lovely!!

I was at work on Saturday and although the morning was steady the afternoon was very quiet. But give it a couple of weeks and everyone will be in for school shoes and it will be manic.

Sunday we went to a friends house for her Mum's 65th birthday. Nic and her hubs did a bbq and the weather was fab. Nice food, a glass or two of something and brill company made for a lovely day.

I managed to get a couple more cards made on Friday and here is one of them. I always like to have a couple of thank you cards prepared!

Today I have just got Harry at home as George has been to a holiday club this morning and then a friends house this afternoon. Not quite sure when he is coming home actually :)

Its almost here!!

The summer hols that is and I am really looking forward to it!!!
I have to work all day tomorrow but then have the next 10 days off with my chaps. Yipppeeeee!

Here is one of the cards I have made over the last few days. I am happy to say that my mojo has been found skulking in a corner somewhere and I have dragged it out kicking and screaming.

I am still working my way through a kit I bought from Create and Craft earlier this year. There are some very cute images and background images to use along wit some fab ribbon I received from Kirsty Wiseman the other day.

The plan is to try and get some scrapbook pages done over the summer as i seem to have slipped where that is concerned. Then again I haven't crafted anything much recently until this week so even making some birthday cards is a bonus.

I must get some pictures taken of Bruce as he seems to have grown so much since he came to stay with us. Mind you he seems to think he is a goat at the moment as not only does he love emptying and eating the contents of any bin but I caught him sitting on top of the patio table the other day. Hmmmmmm what did we let ourselves in for!!???

Mid week!

No crafting to show you today although I have made some cards but need to take the pics - job for tomorrow!!!

I have been using a card kit I bought quite a while ago (see still on my stash diet...sort of) and have had a fab time making some simple but bright cards.

Change of subject:
Last week it was George's sports day.
Now George takes his sports quite seriously and although he isn't fiercely competitive he like to do his best.
One of his races was the sprint and he was so ready for this race. I was not so convinced as bless him he is one of the smallest in his year as well as the youngest.
The whistle went and omg it was like Forest Gump - he ran like the wind and won the race!!!
I was so pleased for him!

My boys only have two days left at school and we can't wait. Harry is shattered and ready for a break, George is George and just carries on really while I am just ready for six weeks of no routine in the mornings!

Ooooooppps!

Suddenly thought today that I have not made Thank You cards for George's teacher and classroom assistant (not making Harry's he can do that himself!).

I remembered that I have some Lily Of The Valley images from eons ago which I have not used yet. The pic does not do the card justice and it does look better in rl.............honest!!!!!
