I am back!!

Yes I am back from the land of feeling grotty!!!
Not a nice place to be and I don't intend to make a return journey there either!!

So what has been going on in my world then?.........Nothing actually! Yup diddly squat but ya know what? That is good - I have liked nothing over the last few days :)

Anyway a little package arrived for me on Saturday containing these lovely ATC's from some friends of mine. We do a monthly swap and the theme was..... can you guess? yes that is right Love!!!!
I like taking part in swaps. It is always great to see how people interperate the theme :)

Today I have Traci's craft group this morning and then back to hers afterwards. I like Tuesday craft group, the ladies are lovely, coffee and cake is fab oh and Traci's projects are not too bad either ;)

Right better get sorted for the day ahead xxxxx

Feeling a bit pants!!!

I have caught the lurgy (a cold) and so feel a little under the weather :(
So I have been dosing myself up today as I have got to work tomorrow :(
Felt so yucky that I have not done any crafting :(
But good thing is that George is better :)

No piccies - sorry!!!

No piccies today I am afraid as i have done zilch crafting. :(
This morning was taken up with George at the docs. He is still complaining that his back still hurts after his incident last Thursday so I took him down to the surgery to be checked out.
Thankfully it seems to be muscular and so nothing more than rest (hmmm he is a 5 year old boy keeping still is not in his vocab!!!) and nurofen is required.

This afternoon was then spent in George's class helping out with reading and numeracy :)

So a busy day but hopefully a little bit of playing with paper tomorrow ;)

Not much to show today!

Its not that I haven't done any crafting today because I have - honest!

This morning I went to Traci's craft class and we made (or part made) a card holder which will look fantastic when it is finished next week. I used a stamp for the cover which I may purchase from her as it is a fantastic scroll type design. When it is finished next Tuesday I will take a piccie and post on here.

The only completed thing to show you was an inchie I made. This is from the daily challenge on the tjcdesigns forum, which if you have not taken a peek at then you should its fab!!! The challenge prompt for today was cuppa!!!

Tomorrow is a mixed day - morning at home and then helping at school from 1pm. Wish me luck LOL!

Sunday again!!!!

Well its that time of the week again - the weekend has just flown by :(

Today I have made some male birthday cards for a group I am a member of which will be sold for charity.
Another creation were these ATC's in an oriental theme. Now I don't get the oriental craze I really don't but these stickers were part of a calender my Ma and Pa gave me for Christmas so they had to be used and not wasted.
Oh and I also made some inchies but due to the bad light I will take pics tomorrow and post then.

Boring boring!

It has been a really boring Saturday! And as I had a day off from the shoe shop I was really looking forward to it but.........Steve then had to work and the boys decided to argue like a cat and dog too. :(

I was full of very good intentions today of doing at least one card ....... but alas it was not to be.

But I have had George at home with me so that is my excuse. He is by the way fine. I think he pulled a muscle or just winded himself. Poor little thing has not had a good week :(

This weekend though I am intending to craft especially if the weather is not good. Steve is working so I think we will all stay in the warm and chill :)

Poor George!

This little boys has not had a great week bless him!

First last Friday night he had to go to the out of hours doc as he quickly came down with a ear infection. So he is quite poorly for a few days but he gets better and goes back to school yesterday.
But then this morning while doing PE he has a little accident which scared his teacher bless her! So he has now hurt his back poor little spud!!!!!

I guess he is now at home with his momma tomorrow!

As for crafting well I have done none today so I am afraid you will have to make do with a piccie of my little one! xxxx

I am so on a roll now!!!!

Think that I have finally found my mojo and am enjoying crafting again!!!
If I am perfectly honest over the last few months I was not enthusiastic about papercrafting and was really stuck for ideas. However the break over Christmas did me some good as I am messing about with stuff and having fun again!

I am on a mission at the mo to sort through my crafting mags and use any free gifts lurking around. Also I am carrying on with the design file idea using pics and articles out of used magazines.

I managed three cards today which was actually good considering I have been at school for most of the afternoon helping out!

Tomorrow I have a child free day - something I have not had so far this week. So once all of the dg duties are done who knows what else I will get done.

Been crafting.......again!!!!

Another day and I have been crafting - good grief!!!!!!

I have made some cards today which I will post tomorrow. The sick thing is that I did make some Christmas cards. Yes I know it is only January but I did make a promise to myself that I would make some throughout the year this year rather than have a big rush in December!

The pic is of the tin I altered last night. It didn't take long to do but I really like it. I am going to use it to store my inches in it hence the wording on the front of the tin.

On a personal note I have had both of the boys at home today poorly. But they are both going to school tomorrow come hell or high water!!!!

I quite enjoy making these and they will be inthe post tomorrow to take part in a swap.

Today has been a bit of a mish mash of dg duties and tidying my room oh and catching up on a bit of web surfing.
I have also decorated a tin to store my inches in so a pic will follow tomorrow.

Well I know that I have been awol for a week or so but I have been quite poorly. So poorly infact I have not been tempted by my laptop or craft room. But I am getting better and my crafting mojo seems to be making a long awaited return too!!!!

Poor George isn't well at the moment though. In the space if two hours on Friday he went downhill very very quickly and a trip to the out of hours doc was called for. Bless him he has an ear infection so is in quite a bit of pain. But today he did seem a little better then again he is on quite a few drugs at the mo so he is probably as high as a kite!!!!!

Right may go and play with some paper!!!! xxxx

Lovely day!

Well as usual (or so it seems at the mo) I am not showing anything I have made on my blog. Although I must confess to having made some thank you cards tonight - yipeeeeeee!

No I am just letting you know that Harry and I had an afternoon spent watching The Golden Compass. The verdict.........it is fab!! We really loved it!

Steve on the other hand drew the short straw and watched Alvin and the Chipmunks LOL!!!!!!!

New years resolutions and lessons learned from 2007????
Well weight loss has got to be a priority (again!), more quality time with my boys, pass driving test and appreciate and love those near and dear to me.
If 2007 taught me anything it was that life is sooooo short and we must cherish those we love. Don't be afraid to tell people we love them - everything can change in a blink of an eye and never be the same again.
